Hannah Dougherty’s passion for film making in all its guises is manifested in the diversity of her work ranging from fashion films through to narrative fiction. Hannah’s filmmaking merges live action, stop-motion and animation. Her unique style is developed through this multiplicity and her interest in science fiction.

Predominantly Hannah has worked on shorts, fashion films and music videos, taking on the roles of writer, director, cinematographer, animator and editor.

Hannah has worked in Australia, New York and Paris and her shorts have been screened in festivals throughout Brooklyn, Vancouver, Utah, Colorado and Sydney. She has made films for prestigious fashion labels such as Ellery, Oroton, Emma Mulholland and Josh Goot. She has collaborated with magazines Oyster and Vogue on several film projects.

Hannah Dougherty's latest music video 'Hand Me Down' for Jack Stirling, follows a group of alien maskwearing chracters dancing in several locations around New York. 

“Hand Me Down started as a reverse X-Files concept, featuring two alien detectives searching for the truth about humans and in the process discovering dance. After listening to some of Jack Stirling’s music I was inspired to make an 80s dance music video which I hadn’t tackled before.”
